Bananas for Breakfast

I am an avid breakfast eater. I've come to the conclusion that if I missed out on breakfast I'm most likey hangry until lunch time. For me, breakfast is the most important meal because it keeps me energized for the start of the day and helps me refrain from those horrible hangry moments. I do try to switch up my breakfast, always opting for healthy options. I love greek yogurt with granola, whole grain cereals {Kashi is the bomb!}, and different variations of toast. #tbt to when I shared my recipe for hearty avocado toast, and today I'm back with a toast that is sure to keep you going with it's wholecome ingredients. 

I toast a slice of whole wheat bread, spread a bit of peanut butter {can never go wrong with peanut butter}, slice banana as a topping, and drizzle honey for that extra sweetness!

  1. I like the same "recipe" you posted, but with almond butter instead of peanut butter! It's a little different, but so tasty!

    1. I LOVE almond butter, especially to dip in apple slices! I will definitely swap the peanut for almond butter next time! Thanks for the suggestion! xoxo
