Favorite Afternoon Pick-Me-Ups

More so during the school year, snacking helps keep me energized. I little afternoon pick-me-up is usually just what I need after a draining day of school. I prefer my snacks on the lighter side, but also something that will keep me full and focused. 


+ skinny pop popcorn
This stuff is addictive. I have to opt for the personal sized bags just to keep me from eating half of a big bag. It's super yummy and made with all natural ingredients. With only 100 calories a bag, it makes for the perfect snack!

+ almonds
Almonds have loads of fiber and tons of protein. A handful usually curbs my hunger and I feel satisfied until dinner time. My go-to is roasted salted, but if I'm in the mood for something sweet, honey roasted are so yummy. 

+ boom chicka bites
I found this at Target and just had to give it a try {& yes, I was swayed by the pink bag}. I love Boom Chicka products and trusted these looked super yummy. They are popcorn clusters with just the right balance of salty and sweet. 

+ granola bars
Granola bars are so convenient and I sometimes throw some in my backpack for those hangry moments during the day. My favorites are Cliff and Kind, both full of fiber and protein, keeping me equally full and energized!
