TGIF

Today is the day. As of 11 o'clock, following my PreCalc exam this morning, it will officially be summer! It seriously hasn't quite hit me yet that junior year is over- it seriously felt like yesterday was the first day of school. Although bitter sweet, my friends and I can't help by talk about the fact that we will be seniors next year. Some of us have been together since the first grade, and it's kind of crazy to think we will be graduating. We've made it our mission to make the most of our final year together and have a few summer adventures planned already. As I slowly transition into a more relaxed routine, I'm taking the weekend to debrief and hit the beach. Per tradition, a bunch of us juniors and seniors have decided to have a celebratory boat day. For the rest of the weekend, I'm hoping to catch up on some sleep and just enjoy the summer sun.

Hydrangeas are easily one of the favorite flowers. They are so beautiful this time of year and I was so excited to have stumbled upon a garden of them the other day. I'm not going to lie, but I was really tempted to cut some for myself (lol) but decided that outfit pictures would do the trick.

This dress is probably my favorite purchase for the summer season. I wore it for the Upper School awards ceremony this past week and was super comfortable all day. It's definitely a dress I will wear on repeat and I might just have to pull it out for this weekend and graduation next week!

Holy yum! On our travels to Winston Salem last weekend, the fam and I found the cutest little breakfast place for a little pre-game celebration. The granola and banana pancakes were so delicious and they had me looking forward to more brunch dates this summer. A new brunch restaurant just opened up here in town and I'm super excited to try it out.

Happy Friday and happy summer!
What plans do you have for Memorial Day Weekend?

  1. I totally get the feeling that time is flying by! I graduate next month and it feels like freshman year was yesterday. Definitely cherish your last year and all of your classmates. Senior year will be over in the blink of an eye.
