TGIF

Today I am officially seventeen! I've always thought that seventeen sounded significantly older than sixteen and I am super excited to have made it to the milestone of being able to see R rated movies (lol).  On the agenda is a pretty laid back day with good eats, a little shopping, and of course my all time favorite: a Whole Foods cupcake. I've had a super fun week filled with celebration and I'm looking forward to what the weekend entails. Here's a peak into my week:

::one::
My sweet girlfriends hosted the most precious birthday brunch for one of my besties and I being our birthdays are so close to one another. We ate eggs benedict, toasted with mimosas, and took more time for taking photos than eating. I'll share a few photos next week!

::two::
I don't think I've ever felt more accomplished than with starting my gallery wall. I've had some of these prints for months, and finally took the initiative to purchase frames and get things rolling. I'm in love with it thus far and can't wait to add more to my collection.

::three::
I've kind of been in the shopping mood lately and as a firm believer in retail therapy, probably a little more than necessary. I'm dying over this new tote I snagged from work and it's such a great bag for running errands, carrying books, or traveling. I'm also super excited to start using my Day Designer planner from Target. It has the sweetest touches that make it so different from any planner I've had and will be a great motivator for senior year. KJP was also SO sweet enough to send me a bracelet from their new collection and I'm obsessed!

It feels weird to be 17!
What are your weekend plans?

  2. Happy Birthday PJ! It's funny- I turned 17 in April and for some reason, it does feel a lot older than 16!
