Summer Soles

I've been on a huge shopping kick lately (putting my paychecks to good use) and have found new shoes to be at the top of my wish list. It's typical of me to throw on a pair of Jacks everyday during the summer, but I've found myself gravitating towards shoes that are fun and fitting for the season. I've put together my favorite picks that I can't seem to stop wearing. 

+ block heel sandal

Seriously, the most comfortable sandal ever. I've waited since April for these pretties and they were most definitely worth the wait. The color is a great neutral thats works for both now and the fall, and I managed to make it through my walking tour at Chapel Hill without a blister in them.

+ ballet flats

One of my friends convinced me get these flats (thx Emma!) not only because she was partial to her own pair but also because they are just too cute. The nude pairs well with pretty much anything and they remind me so much of a ballerina- a true ballet flat. 

+ Stan Smith sneakers

eek! After months of figuring whether or not to splurge on a pair, I finally got Stan Smiths. My mom and dad are just as excited because they remember wearing them back in the day. I was hesitant about the green, but it surprisingly goes well with any look like any basic sneak like Converse would. 

+ platforms 

Platforms have been trending like no other. They are such a great shoe that can work both for a dressier look or a more causal feel. I've worn them out to get togethers with friends and have received so many compliments. Plus, you can't beat the price for such a staple shoe that is so popular this season.
