TGIF

This week has flown by; however, has been one of my most productive. My mom and I put aside a few days to visit Virginia and tour two of my prospective colleges. And today, I'm looking at Wake Forrest and also having my interview. With less than two weeks left till school starts, I'm trying to take advantage of every last minute of summer, whether it be working on college apps or hitting the beach. My friends and I find it surreal that we are going to be a seniors, but are more excited than anything. Tennis season officially starts next week and I'm definitely ready to get back into the swing of things ;). Also on the calendar: to get my wisdom teeth out #yikes.

The University of Richmond seriously stole my heart. I had toured it back in October with my classmates, but this time around, I truly felt that "aha" moment. The campus is gorgeous, the small environment is a plus (my senior class this year is only 35 kids), and the city of Richmond has SO much to offer. I get so excited to talk about it, and I can't wait to apply.

We also toured UVA, and the town of Charlottesville was absolutely adorable. I had been given recommendations by a close friend of mine and the downtown area is a must visit.

Nothing beats a beach day. More often than not, my friends and I take our boats out on the Intercostal, rarely visiting the beach. It's nice to feel like a tourist and actually put our feet in the sand every now and then.
